ATTENTION CORNING CITY RESIDENTS: the CITYWIDE CLEAN UP scheduled for May 7 & 8, 2022 has been rescheduled for May 21 & May 22 due to inclement weather forecasted for this weekend. The Hours for SATURDAY MAY 21 are 8am - 5PM and for SUNDAY MAY 22 the hours are noon - 5PM.
The location will be the old dump at 401 4th Street (south of the railroad, west of Highway 148). All household items including Appliances, Computers, Tires (no rims; no tractor tires), TV's except tube TV's (tube tv's can go out with your weekly bulk trash). NO PAINT or hazardous materials! Latex paint can be dried out and disposed in regular garbage. For trees and lawn debris, go to the city burn site at 2192 200th Street (NE of Lake Binder. Keys to the burn site can be picked up at City Hall, 601 6th St. If you can't get to the City dump site, call our volunteers to arrange curb-side pick-ups.
